RICHMOND, Ky. -- Eastern Kentucky University's Chrissy Roberts was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year by league head coaches and sports information directors. Roberts has been one of the best players in the conference for the past two seasons.
After transferring from Kentucky, Roberts stepped in and immediately made her presence felt. Roberts led the nation in three-point shooting last year, hitting an incredible 48.8 percent of her long range shots. She received the AT&T Long Distance Award and the Steitz Award, both given to the most accurate three-point shooter in the country.
