July 6 - A familiar face will return to the sidelines this season as Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball head coach Larry Joe Inman has announced the hiring of Chrissy Roberts as an assistant coach on his staff.
May 17 - Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball coach Larry Joe Inman has announced the signing of 6-4 ½ center Lindsay McClellan of Newark (OH) High School to a national letter-of-intent.
May 12 - Eastern Kentucky University head women's basketball coach Larry Joe Inman has announced the signing of 5-6 guard Katie Kelly from Uniontown, PA, to a national letter-of-intent.
May 11 - Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball coach Larry Joe Inman has announced the signing of Leigh Carr, 6-0 forward-center from North Harrison High School in Ramsey, IN, to a national letter-of-intent.
May 10 - Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball coach Larry Joe Inman will coach an all-star team made up of Ohio Valley Conference and Southeastern Conference players on Sports Reach's cultural exchange/mission trip to China which will run May 13-27.

Mar. 1 - Coach Larry Joe Inman's Eastern Kentucky University Lady Colonel basketball team concluded its 1999-2000 season with a 67-61 loss at Murray State University in the first round of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.
Feb. 26 - The Eastern Kentucky University Lady Colonel women's basketball team tuned up for the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament with a 91-86 overtime victory over Southeast Missouri Saturday afternoon in EKU's McBrayer Arena.  EKU will face Murray State Tuesday night at Murray at 5:30 p.m. CST in the opening round of the OVC Tournament with the winner heading to Nashville, Mar. 4-5, for the Final Four of the OVC Tourney.
Feb. 25 - The Eastern Kentucky University Lady Colonel basketball team closes out regular season play Saturday at EKU's McBrayer Arena against Southeast Missouri in a 2:00 p.m. game that will feature pre-game Senior Day activities for guard Marla Gearhart.

Feb. 11 - Coach Larry Joe Inman's Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team will be looking for a season sweep of Tennessee State Saturday afternoon as the Lady Tigers come to McBrayer Arena for a 2:00 p.m. matchup with the Lady Colonels.  EKU got back on the winning track Thursday night when Eastern hit 50 percent from the field and outrebounded Austin Peay, 43-35, in defeating the Lady Govs, 91-79.
Feb. 7 - The Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team hosts Austin Peay State University Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. at McBrayer Arena.  EKU comes into the game trying to shake a four-game Ohio Valley Conference losing streak which has dropped the Lady Colonels into fifth place in the latest conference standings with a 6-6 league record. Overall, Eastern stands 9-12.
Feb. 1 - Coach Larry Joe Inman's Eastern Kentucky University Lady Colonel basketball team faces one of its toughest road trips of the year this week when Eastern visits Middle Tennessee Thursday night and Ohio Valley Conference-leading Tennessee Tech Saturday evening. Both games begin at 5:45 p.m. CST.
Jan. 7 - Paced by a ball-hawking defense that helped create 27 Lady Raider turnovers, coach Larry Joe Inman's Eastern Kentucky University Lady Colonel basketball team led from the start in blasting Middle Tennessee, 90-70, in Ohio Valley Conference action at Eastern's McBrayer Arena Thursday night.
Jan. 5 - Two of the three other undefeated Ohio Valley Conference teams are on the slate for coach Larry Joe Inman's Eastern Kentucky University Lady Colonels this week as Middle Tennessee comes to McBrayer Arena Thursday night (6:00 p.m.) and Tennessee Tech is on campus for a Saturday afternoon tilt (2:00 p.m.) with EKU.
