RICHMOND, Ky. - Coach Larry Joe Inman's Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team held its annual awards banquet Thursday night at the Mulebarn at EKU's Arlington Golf Course.

Award winners included:

Most Improved - (tie) Sophomore guard Larrya Wall and sophomore center Candice Finley

Best Rebounder - Senior center Jennifer King

Best Defensive Player - Freshman guard Mikki Bond

Best Offensive Player - Sophomore forward Charlotte Sizemore

Top Gun Award (point system devised for offense and defense) - Mikki Bond

Fall Dean's List (3.5+) - Freshman guard Zoey Artist and junior guard Marla Gearhart

Presidential Scholar (3.1+) - Zoey Artist, senior center Cathy Dues and Marla Gearhart

Colonel Scholar (3.0+) - Zoey Artist, Cathy Dues and Marla Gearhart
