As a Freshman: Zoey was a major contributor to the Lady Colonels’ success in her first season of collegiate basketball.  She started eight of the 27 games in which she saw action, including a mid-season stretch where she started seven straight contests.  Zoey averaged 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game and finished the year with 55 assists and 20 steals.  She closed her first campaign at EKU in grand style, tieing her career high with a 16 point performance against perennial OVC powerhouse Tennessee Tech and coming back two days later for a 12 point, three steal, two assist game vs. Middle Tennessee.  Zoey also scored 16 points in an earlier season matchup with Southeast Missouri.  She  concluded the 1998-99 season as the team's fourth best free throw shooter with her .692 mark.  Zoey's top rebound efforts were seven carom nights against Southeast Missouri (1-2-99) and Morehead State (2-13-99).

At CAM: Zoey averaged 25 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as a senior.  She was named first team All State and also received All American honorable mention for her efforts.  As a junior, she averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists en route to first team All State honors.  She was also named the Southwest Player of the Year in Iowa for both basketball and volleyball.  She finished her basketball career at CAM, scoring 1,845 points.  She graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade point average and was named to Iowa's All State Band.
