At Urbana High School: Barbie joins the Eastern Kentucky program from Urbana High School where she averaged 4.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.4 steals per game last season for coach Bill “Skeeter” Moss. She won awards last season as the Most Spirited and Best Positive Attitude for the Hilltoppers. She set a school mark for consecutive free throws made.  and was selected as Most Athletic at Urbana her senior year where she was also a member of the school’s Honor Roll. She was a part of the Urbana girls’ basketball program that saw a rise in number of victories from two as a freshman to 12 this past season. As a freshman at Urbana, Barbie led the squad in three pointers made. She also played softball in high school where se was a catcher and soccer where she was chosen as Athlete of the Year in the Central Buckeye Conference her senior year. She set a school record for most goals in  a single season this past year.
